Cubicles, desks and file rooms cleared for the move, the renovation or the lease end

Office furniture, cubicle panels, cabinets and old equipment removed for relocation, renovation or turnover. The crew does the lifting and the sweep-up.

An office floor with a deadline and nowhere to put the furniture

An office cleanout usually has a hard stop: a lease ending, a floor being renovated, a company moving across the river. Everything that isn't going with you has to go somewhere, and it is bigger than it looks: grey cubicle panels bolted in rows, desks, filing cabinets with years of folders, conference chairs and a supply closet nobody has opened since the last move.

Our Jersey City job photos start with exactly that, a floor of grey cubicles waiting to be removed, and end with an empty commercial space and bare carpet. Facilities managers, property managers and small business owners in Hudson, Bergen and Essex counties call when the item count is too high for a van and too awkward for the freight elevator.

A crew that takes it apart and carries it out

Send photos or a video of the floor, or a list of the furniture, and we'll estimate from that, with the final price confirmed on site. If the building needs a loading window or a walk-through first, tell us. Once access and scope are confirmed, nobody from your team has to stand around while the crew works.

Our own New Jersey crews do the lifting, loading and hauling, and the 25 cubic yard trucks keep trips down on a big floor. Commercial cleanout here covers office, retail, turnover, relocation and renovation, so moving large items out of buildings is ordinary work for them. Usable desks and chairs can go to donation, and recyclable material is separated where possible.

Peter Yoon of Leonia, NJ, had large items to move out of his office, and this is what he wrote after the crew finished: "Edison's team came early, communicated well, and worked efficiently to get our office cleaned out. We had large items and they handled everything in about 3 hours."

Specialty pricing and what the empty floor looks like

Offices price at our specialty volume rates rather than the standard ladder: 1/8 of the truck is $685, 1/4 is $985, 1/2 is $1,685, 3/4 is $1,985 and a full truck is $2,500. Specialty cleanouts price higher due to extra labor, sorting, access, or dense contents. Loading, hauling, disposal fees and sweep-up are included, with no hourly rate.

The truck can't take wet paint, chemicals, fuel, gasoline, propane tanks, pesticides, asbestos, medical waste or unknown liquids. In an office that usually means cleaning products in the supply closet, so set them aside or mention them up front. Old computers and monitors are a different matter, because electronics recycling is something we do.

When it's done, the floor is empty and swept: no cubicle frames, no stranded chairs, no cabinets against the wall. The Jersey City after photo is a bare commercial space with plain carpet, ready for the contractor, the next tenant or the landlord's walk-through. That is the condition a lease-end inspection or a renovation start usually asks for.
