What counts as junk, and who carries it
Junk is whatever you no longer want and cannot easily move: a worn sofa, a dead refrigerator, a pile of lumber, a broken desk, a closet of boxes. It might be one heavy item that needs two strong people, or an entire room of mixed material that needs a truck. Either way, the problem is the same: it has to leave, and you do not want to carry it.
Most customers have already priced the alternatives. A dump run means renting a truck and paying fees by weight, a dumpster means a bin sitting in the driveway while you fill it yourself, and a friend with a pickup means a lost Saturday. A crew that loads and hauls it all is often the simplest route.
How the crew takes it from there
Send photos, a short video or an item list, and we give you an estimate. The final price is confirmed on site. The crew then does all the lifting, loading, hauling and sweep-up, and you do not have to be present once access and scope are confirmed. No dumpster rental is involved, and no one asks you to move a single box.
Jacob Amos of Boonton wrote that the crew "communicated proactively, showed up right on time, explained pricing clearly, and worked so fast I was repeatedly impressed." Prompt communication, a clear price and quick work are what we aim to deliver on every call, whether the job is a single couch or a full truck of mixed household material.
The 25 cubic yard trucks are bigger than typical competitor trucks, so large loads need fewer trips, and the in-house crews are trained employees, not subcontractors. Usable furniture and goods are donated, and recyclable material goes to recycling whenever possible. Same-day and next-day availability is often possible, seven days a week.
Price tiers, exclusions and the result
One or two items are priced as a single-item pickup at $185 to $250; extra-heavy items over about 150 lb, oversized pieces or difficult access may increase it. Larger jobs follow the truck: $350 for a 1/16 load, $485 for 1/8, $685 for 1/4, $985 for 1/2, $1,685 for 3/4 and $1,985 for a full truck.
Labor, loading, hauling, disposal fees and the sweep and clean-up are all included. There is no hourly rate, so a slow staircase or a long carry does not change the number. There are no hidden fees either, and the on-site price is confirmed before work starts.
A few materials cannot go on the truck: wet paint, chemicals, fuel, gasoline, propane tanks, pesticides, asbestos, medical waste and unknown liquids. Everything else is welcome. When the crew leaves, the space is clear and swept, from a Hackensack garage to a Morristown living room. The work is done by an A901 licensed and insured crew.
